Pre-Registration Reward Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the “Reward Terms”) govern the free in-app reward offered to eligible users who pre-register for Another Life 2 (the “Application”) on Google Play (the “Pre-Registration Reward”). The Application is operated by AnotherByte Inc. (“Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By pre-registering for the Application and accepting the Pre-Registration Reward through Google Play, you agree to these Reward Terms. If you do not agree, do not pre-register for the reward.
These Reward Terms apply in addition to our Another Life 2 Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict about the Pre-Registration Reward, these Reward Terms control for that subject.
1. Eligibility
To be eligible for the Pre-Registration Reward, you must:
- Pre-register for Another Life 2 through the official Google Play store listing in a country or region where we offer the Pre-Registration Reward
- Accept these Reward Terms (and any related Google Play prompts) when you pre-register
- Be legally permitted to use the Application in your jurisdiction, and be at least 16 years of age (or the age of digital consent where you live). If you are under 16, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Reward Terms on your behalf
- Install the Application from Google Play after it becomes available in your country or region, and complete any in-app steps needed to receive the reward (for example, signing in)
One Pre-Registration Reward is available per eligible Google account, subject to Google Play’s rules and technical limits. We may refuse or revoke a reward obtained through fraud, abuse, multiple accounts created to obtain extra rewards, or other misconduct.
2. The Reward
The Pre-Registration Reward is the free one-time in-app product identified as the pre-registration reward on the Another Life 2 Google Play store listing (including any reward badge or description shown there). It is delivered through Google Play’s billing / promotions-style flow for pre-registration rewards.
The reward is digital only. It has no cash value, is not redeemable for money or store credit, and is non-transferable except as required by law. Unless we state otherwise on the store listing, the reward is for personal, non-commercial use inside the Application.
3. How you receive it
After you pre-register and the Application launches (or otherwise becomes available for install) in your country or region:
- Install Another Life 2 from Google Play using the same Google account
- Open the Application and complete any required setup (such as signing in)
- Allow Google Play and the Application to grant and consume the one-time product. We will notify you in-app within a reasonable time when the reward is available or has been applied
Delivery depends on Google Play successfully associating the reward with your Google account and device. Issues with your Google account, Play Store region, device compatibility, network connectivity, or Google Play services may delay or prevent delivery. Where the problem is on Google’s side, you may need to contact Google Play support; we will help where we reasonably can at support@anotherbyte.ca.
4. Changes, availability, and end of the offer
Google Play limits how pre-registration rewards work (for example, one reward configuration per pre-registration campaign, and restrictions on editing an active reward). The offer is available only while pre-registration with this reward is active in your country or region, and only as shown on the store listing.
We may update these Reward Terms by posting a revised version at this URL and updating the date above. Material changes will not reduce rewards already validly earned for completed pre-registrations, except where required by law or to address fraud, abuse, or technical errors.
5. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Pre-Registration Reward is provided “as is”. Nothing in these Reward Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Pre-Registration Reward will not exceed the greater of (a) the retail value of the one-time product offered as the reward in your region, or (b) the minimum amount that must be paid under applicable law. We remain fully liable for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and any other liability that cannot be excluded.
6. Governing law
These Reward Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AnotherByte Inc. is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise. Disputes may be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
